There's currently an embarrassment of riches in Manchester when it comes to creative things to do and shows to catch. (Isn't there always?!) However The Greater Manchester Fringe Festival running across this month, has just turned-the-dial up-to-eleven with over 70 unique events which just might make it THE BEST FRINGE EVER!
Mag North is very lucky to be heading to lots of must-see stuff: Think Adam Evans Crisp Review and Rachel Creeger's Ultimate Jewish Mother...but what about the AMAZING Ilaria Passeri and her 'Outside In' show that kicks off on 25 July?!

Ilaria is co-host of Verbose, Manchester’s leading spoken word night - and host of her own Just Stories, as well as recent winner of a Sabotage award for best short story collection. And Ms Passeri is now bringing her new one-woman show, Outside In, to the Fringe.
Warm, witty and touching, Outside In deals with belonging. Is Ilaria’s home with the arty crowd, the poets and storytellers? Or is it with the girls who, unfiltered, don’t quite look like their online image? Is naked yoga the answer, or is she really one of the Dubai Bitchez?
Kidnapped from Brownies in an ice cream van, forced to tend to a Santa with explosive bowels in the Arndale grotto, haunted by a failed comedian, Ilaria just wants a gang. But does one actually exist?
Outside In is written and performed by Ilaria Passeri, and produced by Micheál Jacob, former Head of Mainstream Comedy at BBC Television.

Performances are at 19.30 on 25th and 26th July, and 14.30 on 30th July at the gorgeous Gullivers, (one of my favourite spots) on Oldham Street, M4 1LW.
