Lost in Tib Street

Female empowerment (plus singing and dancing) at Manchester's Fitzgerald
November 3, 2022

Emerging production company ‘To Bee Productions’ (founded by award-shortlisted Jas Nisic) partners with multi award-winning Manchester theatre-maker, Selina Helliwell, to create a brand new show, ‘Lost in Tib Street’…

A collision between jazz music, burlesque and theatre, 'Lost in Tib Street' tells the story of two women in the swinging sixties, navigating their lives and joining forces to set up their own cabaret.

There are many aspects of the character’s lives threading through this cabaret-style performance, with an LGBTQIA+ storyline (with a real taste of history), a 'rivals to friends' trope (with a big dose of female empowerment) and a whole lot of singing and dancing.

With an array of classic jazz covers and burlesque dance sequences tied up in a theatrical bow, this is a show not to be missed.

So get lost in Tib Street and step back in time with Jas and Ember on Thursday 24th November at The Fitzgerald (11 Stevenson Square, Manchester M1 1DB). Swing into the sixties and all that jazz...

Thursday 24th November. Doors at 7:30PM, show starts at 8PM. Tickets: HERE
