Tomorrow, (Sunday 14 May) there's a chance to see the next generation of Mancunian musical artists up-close and enjoy a special performance by RNCM Young performers at Manchester’s Band on the Wall.

Launched at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in September 2022, RNCM Young Artists is a new initiative designed to provide young people aged 11 to 18 from across the North West with life-changing opportunities to explore their music talent and achieve their potential.

Taking place at the RNCM each Saturday, the programme is led by the conservatoire’s Popular Music Department, with participants receiving training, mentorship and music-making experiences from some of the world’s best tutors.

Sunday’s showcase at Band on the Wall will see this year's RNCM Young Artists take their first step into the industry, which makes Manchester’s thriving musical scene the perfect setting. Their set will include tracks and covers, featuring everything from pop and rock to R&B and soul.

Tickets to RNCM Young Artists Showcase are free, but need to be reserved by emailing youngartists@rncm.ac.uk

Doors open at 4pm, the performances start at 4:30pm and will finish at 7:30pm.
