Young children and their families can swim with the silver fish, peer through telescopes, ride the tide and take a leap, with a newly-created musical experience from Morecambe's very special music and education charity More Music.
Following on from the fun, discovery and wonder of More Music’s successful Magic Islands and Raven Tales, they are inviting audiences back for more musical magic this February half term with their brand new Early Years show, Dare!
“The fun of making and sharing Raven Tales with audiences has taught us that there’s something a bit extra that’s worth exploring in preparing and sharing a story with songs, film, shadows, instruments and more. So the joy of Raven Tales kind of challenged us to do more” says Ben McCabe, Creative Producer, More Music.
“We’ve included lots of different elements with the hope of appealing to different people’s tastes and interests. One child might be charmed by the shadows of a whale while another might love jumping with the pufflings and so on!
"We’re very happy that this might be a young person’s introduction to performance. It’s a big responsibility to welcome people into the room and find a comfortable pace to move side by side through the show. The concept of the show is that everyone is welcome, valued and supported in taking their place and taking up space.”
This new interactive show for under 5s and their families will take place on 20 & 21 February at More Music in Morecambe at 10am, 12pm & 2pm.
Audiences can expect to sing, play and dance along on this beautiful voyage of (self) discovery.
